Airlie Ice Cream is hand made in small batches using only the finest, locally sourced ingredients. Gorgeously rich and creamy our flavours are inspired by the traditionally made local ice cream we remember when growing up.
Created in 2017 for sale in our own ice cream parlour, Airlie Ice Cream is now available to wholesale customers. You can find it in the freezers of local stores and cafes in Strathyre and even on some menus of local restaurants in the surrounding Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park.

Each flavour is available in two convenient sizes:
120ml tubs
Perfect single portions for children and those wanting a refreshing ice cream on a hot day
500ml tubs
To take home and enjoy, containing up to five portions per tub
We can also provide ice cream in 5 litre Napoli trays on request.
About Airlie Ice Cream
We began making ice cream for our parlour in Strathyre, the Trossachs back in 2017. Keen to recapture the delicious flavours of our Scottish childhood, we decided to create our own small batch ice cream using the finest locally sourced ingredients. Running our own ice cream parlour we delighted in sharing our ice creams with our guests and with other visitors to the area we soon discovered how popular it was after receiving rave reviews and bespoke orders started to increase.
As Airlie Ice Cream became more popular, we decided to move into the wholesale market and now supply local outlets across Stirling, Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park. We’re committed to creating high-quality, traditional ice cream. Based in our stand-alone unit, we make our ice cream while enjoying stunning views of Ben Sheann and the surrounding countryside. Inspired by our childhood and the beautiful countryside around us, our freshly made small batch ice creams are truly delicious.
The Airlie Otter
The appearance of the Airlie Otter on our packaging came from our many walks around the stunning Strathyre area. We’ve spent many an entertaining hour watching otters play along the banks of the nearby River Balvaig. Sociable, curious and full of fun, we love sharing our neighbourhood with them. As fellow natives of Strathyre, they make the perfect symbols for Airlie Ice Cream.
